Hi @patrizio, I take Eliquis (apixaban) 5 mg every morning and evening for a DVT I had about 4 months ago. I usually drink a protein shake every day in the late morning. I wasn't aware of any problems drinking a protein shake if you are on apixaban.

I read there is a rare side effect of hair thinning for metoprolol. (take 25 mg 2x day) Also read that Eliquis can sometimes cause some stomach discomfort.
