Buddy Baseball – Camaraderie, Acceptance, Fun Our League Buddy Baseball is a non-competitive recreational league serving the Tampa Bay community for boys and girls ages 8 to 21 with special needs. Each player is paired with a buddy to assist the player as needed on the field and in the dugout. Our Story - From Inspiration to Impact I started Buddy Baseball in the summer of 2009, inspired by my sister Sheri in Rockford, Illinois. Sheri’s son, Matt, has special needs, and she was searching for a recreational program where he could feel included and successful.
